The 1st Undergraduate Research Day, organised by the Department of English Language Teaching took place on the 11th May 2016. A total of ten presentations were given by ELT 260 - Scientific Research Methods students, where they shared the results of their empirical studies with the audience.

"Attitudes of translation students towards learning about culture through translation" was presented by Iryna Minyeva
Asya Tunççağ presented her work on "Undergraduate students’ attitudes towards authoritative and authoritarian teachers"
Mehmet Bender also presented his study on "Freshmen students' emotional reactions towards error correction"
Dilaram Rasulova gave her presentation on "Pre-service English language teachers’ awareness of and attitudes towards assessment"
